Fledge-watching time is now open at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. I'm not expecting one of the baby hawks to make its first flight for another few days, but the eldest appears old enough that it could potentially go any time it gets excited enough to give it a try.
The three nestlings were all visible early Friday evening, perched near the left, center, and right of their crenellated turret. Based on development of their head feathers, the one on the right is eldest.
Not much action to see, as they were intent on watching the world around them.
