Arrived at the northeast corner of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine today at 5:15 and found Isolde up and about in her nest. Initially she was sitting on the south side of the nest looking around.
Occasionally she seemed to look downwards. I thought she was checking the kids in her nest, but checking pix revealed that actually she was preening.
She shifted toward the center of the nest and hunkered down just a bit. Then it was just a waiting game. Isolde scanned the skies, and I figured she was watching for Tristan and whatever dinner he might bring.
I likewise waited for Tristan, wandering about a bit but pretty much always within eyeshot of the nest. Nothing doing. A half hour later Isolde was still in the same spot, waiting.
6:00 passes by and she's still there, perhaps sitting up a bit.
Five minutes later I opted to make an exit. About then, Isolde had settled further down in the best. Still no sign of Tristan.
