A pleasant Friday evening found Isolde the red-tailed hawk standing in her nest casually keeping an eye on things.
She would bend down every few minutes to adjust something in the nest, but otherwise she maintained the same posture for at least 40 minutes.
At 7:00, Norman flew in, apparently delivering food.
He quickly left but stayed nearby.
The feed lasting 15 or 16 minutes, during which Norman went back and forth across 113th St.
Isolde then left the nest, carrying the carcass of something and heading for the rooftops near the fire station. It looked like there was enough left for her to have her own meal.
Norman followed west, first landing on the Echo apartments, then spending a few minutes atop the Amsterdam House nursing home, and finally heading down to the roof of 526 West 113th where he also had dinner.
