All three nestlings are still in the red-tail nest at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Eldest is more and more getting into wing exercises and has been trying to perch on St. Andrew's hand. His tail feathers look grown out, and one expects he could exit the nest any day now. Middle Child is also doing some flapping but seems slightly more content to sit and watch what Eldest is doing. Youngest is still mostly stuck with the rear spot in the nest where he can't be seen for very long stretches, but if you wait long enough, you'll eventually see him.
Always nice to get some clear weather during a Manhattanhenge week.
