Survivor was still in the nest on Thursday evening. The one thing that seemed different was that he seems a bit more casual when out on the edge of the nest. Some wing stretches and ho-hum. No panicky fright hop back into the nest.
One of the parents quietly appeared around 6:45, perching on Gabriel's horn. It looked like Norman.
Almost as quietly, the adult took off about 15 minutes later.
Survivor must have been feeling peckish as it spent the next 20-25 minutes working over the leftovers from whatever meal a parent had dropped off earlier in the day.
